Crossroads Care is just one example of the many support services for carers. Please let the surgery know if you formally or informally care for someone.
Crossroads Care wants every carer to be recognised, supported and offered services to help them maintain their own health and wellbeing.
Provides services that respond to the needs of carers and the people they support, offering them peace of mind and understanding.
Crossroads Care Cheshire East, Manchester & Tameside is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. Our aim is to relieve the stresses experienced by carers whose caring responsibilities may be due to a loved ones disability, illness or age. CCCEMT provides a range of high quality services including short breaks within the home, a palliative care service, support groups for those with a physical disability, early onset dementia or Aspergers Syndrome and a Young Carers project.
Crossroads Care Cheshire East, Manchester & Tameside has been operational for 20 successful years. Our success is due to a clear strategic vision – one of our targets is to introduce at least one new service each year to ensure we are delivering services which make a real difference to carers lives.
Being a carer can be rewarding but can also be a demanding and stressful responsibility. Our goals for the future are to continue to address the challenges faced by carers in their everyday lives and to enable them to have some normality in their lives.
